Synthesis of Course Material 3

Pride and Prejudice-I didn't really like reading the book, it was kinda boring and confusing. It was a lot like modern day teenage romance novels where the plot isn't that great, but you watch it for the gossip. Not sure what I got out of this book.

Bride and Prejudice-now this was a good movie, I thought it also did a good job of explaining some things I didn't understand in the book. The ending of the movie is a lot nicer with the indian version of Lydia Bennet coming back from home after she ran away.

Making our AP questions- I thought this was a good exercise because we were understanding how the questions were made. It is a bit unorthodox compared to other exercises we have done in AP class, but it really helped me understand the structure of the multiple choice section.

  1. I agree with everything. I absolutely hated pride and prejudice. The only purpose it served was providing good insight into the culture of the upper class elite of the era, especially the role of women. Like you said, Bride and Prejudice was hilarious and fun to watch. I did like seeing what went into making an AP question.
