I was happy with my interpretations of the Barred Owl and The history teacher. For once I understood the poems that were in the prompt. This was a complete 180 from the Eros poem which I still at this point don't really understand.
Also we now have to deal with Prezi, i kinda like it. But I don't think powerpoint is that much different.
I think the main difference between prezi and powerpoint is that prezi is and is much easier to make look better. I feel that finding the meaning of a poem and understanding it is important but just remember there is no iron clad way to interpret something and that how it affects you can be much different than how it affects someone else.
ReplyDeleteO yea that's right, I was forgetting that we did the essay. For me personally, The History Teacher was easy to understand but I totally misunderstood the Barred Owl but after our discussion with Ms. Holmes, the meaning was much more clearer. As for Prezi, I also think it was fun to work with.
